After the huge success of our previous Childcare Business Matters Workshops, Childcare Concepts are delighted to announce that our next workshops will be held in Brisbane at PwC’s Brisbane office on 11th October and on Monday 23rd October in Sydney.

We have gathered another group of highly renowned industry experts in one forum who will cover topics including child care business strategy, using market intelligence and technology to inform business and investment decisions, tax depreciation, and more.
PLUS, for the first time, we welcome two giants of the childcare industry, John Bairstow CEO of Sparrow Early Learning and Tom Hardwick from Guardian Childcare, who will be sharing their experiences in Brisbane and Sydney respectively.

Our Speakers

John Bairstow Chief Executive Officer of Sparrow Early Learning – Since it was established in late 2014, Sparrow has rapidly grown to now owning 28 operating childcare centres in and around Melbourne and Brisbane. In January 2017, Fullshare Holdings Limited (a company listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange) acquired 90% of Sparrow, in a transaction valuing the business at over $80m. Sparrow Early Learning is a childcare group dedicated to the provision of high quality education and care in a Long Day Care setting.

John is also the former chief financial officer of ASX-listed childcare provider Affinity Education Group, and is joining us in our Brisbane Childcare Business Matters Workshop to talk about his extensive experience in the childcare business industry, and to share a little bit of his expertise.
